Once again, I do not have an abundance of Tulip blooms to show off.  And unless you are in the far reaches of the West Lawn, you will never see these either.

The blooms of the old Fire Bush have made an appearance.

I do not know the exact names of my daffodils, surprise, however I will mention the ones that I know.  Notice that if it has a name I received it from aunt Lois.

Now aunt Lois gave me some starts the other day, but I need to put Lemon Beauty and Cheerfulness on my list.  They are all beautiful, however those two are sickening and a must in my gardens.

More spring happenings.

What a difference a day makes.

I wanted to show you how similar the azalea and the PJM Rhododendron look.

This is the azalea bloom up close.

And here is the PJM Rhododendron bloom.

The spirea is starting to bloom, however right after they bloom, I am going to cut them back to the ground to get a better shape for next season. Also, I wanted to mention that what looks like dirt, is suppose to be grass.  I am hoping that this is not cause for concern.

Another example of what a day makes.

Even though we have a lot of Daffodils in bloom, all I can see is the damn cable cord.  A well placed evergreen is really needed beside this pole.

Flowers of Spring

Virginia Blue Belles.  Now I have to admit, these look much better in mass plantings, but don't judge, you will hurt her feelings. lol

The PJM Rhododendron's are going to bloom this year.  I won't get too excited since they only have a couple buds between the two plants, but it is nice to see.  Next season, they will be fierce.  This is one of those moments in life that test your patience.

 Violets are always a welcome sight. 

 Aunt Lois gave me a start of these violets today.  I cannot remember what she called them.
